Most Mature Drugs

Which do you believe the most mature drug is? Hope I didn't leave out any categories... Tried to get the main ones.

I think hallucinogens because they are something you should be ready to take, and they can allow you learn more than any other drug. Plus most people (At least I don't) take them just to get high like everything else.

I want to vote for hallucinogens, because I believe it takes a great deal of maturity to take them for (what I believe) to be the right reasons. Everyone has different reasons for wanting to take psychedelics, so this is just my opinion.

In second place, I want to pick pharmaceuticals, because I believe it takes a really mature person to take their narcotic pharmaceuticals as prescribed by a doctor instead of taking them for recreation.

 

Ask the tibetan buddhists who have pipes with 5 bowls
1 bowl for cannabis
1 bowl for opium
1 bowl for datura
1 bowl for oleander leaves
and uh I forget the last one.

 

Well I am talking about in a modern American society then. Many people around here I believe are very immature with what they do and take.

 

I voted for "other", because the drugs that cause the most harm to your body and are potentially detrimental to your quality of life require the most maturity, because they require self-control and moderation to be used in a safe and responsible way. At the same time, it depends on an individual's personality and their drug preference, because different people are more easily addicted than others, and more drawn to a particular type of high and they have to be more careful than others with the drugs they use.

ALL drugs require responsibility/self-control and ANY drug can be used in negative ways, even marijuana.

It's a pharmaceutical dissociative. I don't think pharmaceuticals should even be on the poll though, since some pharmaceuticals are stimulants, some are depressants, some are dissociatives, some are opiates, etc.

 

Interestingly, almost all old people only smoke weed. Most of us won't trip any more either. The more mature you are, the less likely you are to do any illegal drug besides weed.

Not to say that maturity isn't extremely helpful when tripping. But it just so happens the young ones are pretty much the only ones tripping. As you guys know, you can be young and mature at the same time.

Just throwing all that crap out there, for whatever it is worth.

 

i think hallucinogens make you mature, but in terms of age older people are alcoholics and pharmaceuticals users. you'd be surprised how much parents abuse their (or thier family members) adderall, tranquilizers, ritalin, painkillers, etc

 

if your asking which drug needs maturity to use responsibly then i say - all of them. you need to have some level of maturity to take any of them responsibly - some you need to be more mature then with others on the list.

 

i vote hallucinogens but looking back i might should have voted for opiates cause, think about it it takes a pretty mature person to take opiates responsibility and make sure they put them selves at no chance at addiction, mean while anybody can take hallucinogens and the worst they have it is just a couple hours of a bad trip (obviously worse things can happen, but im talking generally)
