motorcycles--- to helmet or not

so any how I have use of a Honda V65 ..pretty fast bike


no helmet law here and that's cool.. around town is alright with no helmet

but i'd like to do a bit faster ...doesn't feel right without a skid lid

am I just pussin' ..over 60 kind of sucks

Wear a helmet, it's a god damn motorcycle not a 10 speed.

 

pre wife and kids, i only wore a helmet on cold days, post wife and kids, helmet every time.

 

Besides no one will laugh at you. They would expect you to be wearing a helmet anyway.

If someone saw you on a motorcycle without one they'd be like "look at that idiot not wearing a helmet, lets watch if he gets hit".

 

it's a very fast motorcycle.

I really don't like wearing a helmet that much in town...helmet laws suc

i have a choice and would like to wear one out on the highway...need to find someone to lend me one here as I don't have mine anymore and the friend who loaned me the bike has a real small head

helmet, but i've had to watch videos about what can happen when motorcycles crash...oh and i've always had to cuz my dad is strict as fuck...

HELMETS, and cover your skin with thick clothes...you didn't ask, thought i'd make a suggeston anyway

 

I saw a guy riding a harley in shorts once. No shirt either.

He probably wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed.....

 

certainly I relate to the fact that I am more or less invisible on a m/c

I could give a shit about anyone laughing at me..it's not like it's a harley.. I'm not trying to image anyone.. it's a fast rice-grinder..old..but still has a hundred ponies

 

i see that here all the time. we do have a strict helmet law here, but idiots think they are cool or damn sexy when they wear no shirts riding...man just yesterday i saw a dude in shorts, timberlands, but no shirt, pop a wheely...fucking dumbass. perhaps they have a death wish?

 

Then don't wear a helmet. It's not my brain that's gonna end up looking like a pumpkin on devils night.

helmets are a good idea, but I really like the wind in my hair so it doesn't happen every time.

 

it's mainly a comfort thing for 60+mph ..anything over 60 is intense

maybe I'm just getting old

 

since you're in Co....I'm down south in NM... no helmet law up there? as I may ride up to Denver
