It's been a long time since I watched it. Saw in the theater in the early 2000s.

Some of my favorite movies from the 2000s

Drive 2011 - Masterful direction. A quiet, almost robotic get-away driver falls in love with a girl next door and wants to be a hero to the girl when her husband gets her family in trouble.

Interstellar 2014 - The world is dying and a man must leave his daughter (and familiy) on a space mission to find the Earth's next home. On the surface it's a sci-fi movie, but it's a father-daughter love/abandonment story at heart.

Whiplash 2014 - A student drummer and cut-throat instructor who go to all lengths to realize the student's potential, but at what cost?

Everything Everywhere All At Once (2022) - One of the most creative stories I have ever seen about finding meaning and connection in a nihilistic world where nothing seems to matter.
