Theres always the famous 'drunk' scene in Dumbo...I'm pretty sure he was way ahead of his time and actually fell into a vat of liquid acid..

There's plenty of psychedelics used in THE GRATEFUL DEAD MOVIE, but this thread seems to be geared towards fiction. In this respect, there really seems to be less shroom/lsd usage in film than I even thought. Plenty of scenes with other drugs like x (Go, Kids, and others) and coke (too many to even begin) But it seems like we're all missing some obvious ones, too.

Surprised no one mentioned the shroom scene from NATURAL BORN KILLERS. That scene was pretty integral to the movie, whereas, I'm not surprised that no one remembers that Lance Johnson took some acid near the end of APOCALYPSE NOW. No one mentioned THE TRIP either, but I guess that's too obvious (or too old). And deeper underground, there's even ALICE IN ACIDLAND (tho' that's practically Reefer Madness status in the annals of forget-ability). And on a TV note, anyone see the 2nd episode of the most recent (10th) season of FAMILY GUY? Brian eats shrooms. Awesome visual trip depiction from the beginning of the trip to a full blown fantasy scene that reminded me of Rob Zombie animation. And rare that it was allowed on prime time. Though on the other hand, there's been plenty of 'trips' taken by the Simpsons family as well, just not on actual shrooms or LSD.

And speaking of Zombie animation and trips from other substances ... if peyote counts...there's Zombie's trip depiction during BEVIS AND BUTTHEAD DO AMERICA! Even the YOUNG GUNS had their peyote trip during America's 80's D.A.R.E. years!

And just what was in Alex's Moloko Plus??? More of a Coke/Meth kinda drug or more along the lines of a psychedelic?

And what the #$%^ was in the Scarecrow's concoction in Nolan's BATMAN films?

The trippiest drug movie I have seen in a while is called "Perfect Life". It's a 2011 movie that was not released because they ran out of money... but the movie is floating around on the internet. I totally recommend downloading it!!
