Moving to the states

So im moving to the states in the fall and im trying to prepare myself....so people how depressed am i going to be to leave my West coast canadin dope and trade it in for amarican stuff... here the weed u we get... i scrape at least 3-4 bowls of crystal out of my grinder when i bust up a 1/4...what are my chances of getting that kinda quiliaty down there

 

pretty good, depending on where you move. Pittsburgh has some pretty good weed

There's a lot of good weed here in the USA, don't believe the hype. Just gotta know where to find it.

I'd be more worried about the much more noticible anti-pot climate down here than the quality of weed. In Canada it's not as bad (though, I hear Alberta and the other western provinces aren't as chill as BC and Ontario are), but in most places here, pot is apparently the devil.

 

First off I'd ask why? Why? but I'm sure you have your reasons. Yes, there's some good herb here. It may be a little harder to find on account of the climate that trippinBTM pointed out plus the shwag trade is much bigger I imagine than in Canada, don't know for sure. In America the pot smoker is heavily criminalized and considered 'less than' by much of the rest of society. Plus there are plenty who are all too willing to report you to the cops if they think you are smoking some herb. It's bred into most of the population from the time they're old enough to watch a television and then attend school.

 

Where in virginia are you moving to?

 

perhaps the most conservative state in the union with some of the harshest laws against mj - so be careful.

as for good smoke - i've traveled all over the US and have spent some quality time in Amsterdam and I can honestly say that I have to find better smoke anywhere than that which is grown here in Vermont.

 

^yah. Those Vermont cats got some good herb man. Hitched through there many moons ago out of Sherbrook from Quebec, I got smoked up all the way through VT and it was dank sticky hello hallelujah

Im moving to the states beacuse i have fallin in love with a guy from there. and its just for 2 years of school then i will be back up here. Im planing on going to JMU.

Well - for those that find themselves passing through here (vermont) and you are presented the opportunity to purchase some Elvis, I highly suggest you do. It is a strain that was pioneered here a while ago. I'm sure it was initially a specific cross of your more standard strains - but for about ten years it has simply been known as Elvis and it blows away anything I've ever tried and while in Amsterdam I tried pretty much everything there. Some people I know have honestly gotten tired of how high the THC content is and are crossing it with White Widow to mellow it out some - they call this cross Priscilla - heh.

Up here in ontario, there isn't much touble at all smoking pot. although, ive never had any real trouble with bud, so i don't really know what to compare it to. but, it sure as hell is a lot less paranoid high, when you arnet to worried abut heat, or anything.
