so i live in mn, after doing loads of research on this from the shroomery and other sites, they have basically said that magic mushrooms dont grow wild in mn, but after reading some descriptions i was out an about one day an i saw a TON of shrooms that met the description exactly, so i was wondering if it is possible for them to grow here even tho they aren't native
yeah my boyfriends cousin actually went to minnesota yesterday he said there is farms everywhere where he is and hes gunna bring back some shrooms. haha but im not stupid enough to eat them so yeah i dont know..
In my area, there are only 3 species that grow and it isn't very common. You can't always go with descriptions. Just because the mushrooms look like active specimens, doesn't mean they are. Did you note what they were growing on, spore prints, measurements and so forth? Did you ask the experts on the shroomery in an ID request? If so, then enjoy them, I would be extremely cautious just because if they aren't reported growing wild in your area, they could be poisonous replicas. Good luck!
