My favorite relaxing music has always been by a guy by the name of Kitaro. Here is a video I found long ago, and not only is the music great, but the video itself and the photography and the way it is all put together is awesome. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YO82u7CKj1k
And why Kitaro? Afterall, I am a rock n roll monster. Well, have a look at this one. This was the first video I ever saw from Kitaro, and I likened him to Yes, Santana, Pink Floyd. The lead guitarist here is Angus Clarke, who now plays with the West Coast version of Trans Siberian Orchestra. He is an excellent guitarist, and this was Kitaro at his best and most rocking. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgO81dKsL4Y&feature=related
beautiful music indeed zillagod..thank you for sharing these. and this link here, is of a local busker to me..faldie. he wrote and plays everything.
Here is another group I love to listen to when I need to chill. They are called Cusco. I found out about them when listening to Art Bell on a late night radio show called Coast to Coast. Art was alaways talking about government conspiracies and UFO's and stuff, and he used Cusco as his theme music. He was a big supporter of the Higher Octave Music label, which Cusco is on. Check out Higher Octave Music for so many great artists including Craig Chaquico, Ottmar Liebert, Neil Schon, Cusco etc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbbCVUVOCiM&feature=related https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wuR-Rz9WC-M&feature=related https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLiLMboE9I8&feature=related
yes..am liking cusco, thank you zillagod.. good stuff to dream away to.. will check out the others later..
Zillagod, I really like Cusco...thank you! Here is my favorite chill-out music. It's just so different. Indian chanting over a relaxing modern beat. Some people I've played it for laugh at the vocals, but I think they are really beautiful. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0S-xjql_pE8

I really dig Mu'm when Im trying to relax. Ill listen to their Go Go Smear The Poison Ivy and their Finally We Are No One albums when Im trying to sleep or when Im sick. It's the perfect music staring out the window on a grey, rainy day. I hate the word "folktronica" but it describes their sound farely closely.
