Kind of a long post but mainly...

I just wanted to ask if anybody has felt physical waves on their acid trip?

    My Experience:

Last friday I was tripping with my friends (1 drop to the tongue and 3 sugar cubes. 2 spaced about 1 hour apart and one at 11pm-total trip lasted from 6:30pm to 6 or 7am.) and I started to lay down on a futon and listen to music. (Janelle Monae's Archandroid Album with some Lupe Fiasco) I put a blanket over my eyes (rather heavy blanket too) and after zoning out looking at the cool shapes/images i could see in my eyelids..or head?-I started to feel physical waves pushing on my body.

It felt like I was under a thin water bed and someone was giving me a massage through it. My face felt it mainly at first (like when someone makes circles on your back with their thumbs or knuckles..but on my face) then my back felt a different wave that literally felt like the world was breathing. After a while I felt a wave that was moving my body right to left but I wasnt physically moving at all. It felt like a wave pushing on me over and over.

To test it I even held my breath trying to verify it wasnt just me breathing or something. It wasnt. Then i moved a few times and kept the pace of the waves in my head. As soon as i started to feel them again it was still in pace. I even took my headphones off to listen to the silence thinking it was just the bass of a song...but once again it wasnt.

I sat up after a while because I started to feel like life was a huge dream and I was actually somewhere else surrounded by space or water. So I got up and told my friend C- (who was also tripping off 4 hits) about what I had felt but after he tried the same thing he couldnt feel it at all. But from midnight to about 2am I felt it whenever I started to just zone out and listen to music.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who's felt this..

----------(What was in my head during the trip. Midnight-5am-ish)
    What I think

During the waves I started to think about everything and how it's intertwined in a wave or a see-saw type energy...or something. Ups & downs/black white-everything has it's own opposite and in-between. I seriously think I was feeling some new kind of wave that I knew had always been there but I just never had a mind that was open enough to feel it. It felt right and familiar to feel it like it was something maybe other people feel too.

(I mean, waves are everywhere right? Like sound waves or when you toss a penny in a fountain and it makes waves. Even waves of emotion that people feel on psychedelics or just in general.)

Like i said before-I felt like those waves had always been around me all the time...and they were different like people in an international airport speaking different languages and trying to talk across the room with me standing in the middle. I only understand one language so I drown out the others because I dont understand them. As such, we drown out those other dimensions because they dont make sense. ("Something has to make sense first to make the right change."-Me, tripping. lol)

    -------
    That blinking eye & unity.

Continuing on with my eyes closed & still feeling the waves I kept noticing an eye that would open and close. It looked like one of my eyes and it kept looking around at everything going on around it (squiggly lines turning into faces & shapes). Then during the song by Janelle Monae called 57821 (link to lyrics) I saw a huge circle around the eye that turned into hands clasping then holding each other like an S. With the thumb of the left hand touching the area where the thumb & index finger meet on the right hand. (now make an S) Then the eye was staring right at me not blinking and it looked like it was radiating waves of energy making the hands look really odd.
I felt like this was the connection that binds us all and the eye was a signal of being open minded or enlightened.

    -----
    My quick theory on dimensions.

I had an idea that dimensions are puzzles we conquer by opening our mind. We live in 3dimensions (4 in theory including time/space) right now and scientists theorize there are other dimensions that we cant see or feel due to the way our minds are wired...
Maybe by opening our minds with LSD and DMT(check it out on youtube if you haven't heard about it) we are able to feel and 'see' different waves and dimensions.

Regardless...It was an amazing trip. The first time I just wanted to see stuff and this time...well wow. Talk about an eye opening experience...pun intended.

There's a lot more to try to fit in here but I imagine most people may have read enough already.

I just wanted to know if anybody has felt the wave or maybe had similar experiences/ideas to what I wrote above.

    Thanks for reading :D

    -Peace-

Thank you for sharing and it was a very interesting read as you focused on the feeling aspect of the trip and I must say captured it quite well. I also like some of the thoughts that stemmed from your LSD experience, such as the waves all around us and how we are selective in focusing on waves that make sense to us in our consensual reality.

haha thanks. Honestly the waves really made more sense to me than anything else I felt that trip. Even now I still have that feeling that those waves were always there because it felt so natural to feel them even though I consciously never have before.

interesting. I had a similar type of thought process in my experience, but instead of waves/zigzags. Mine had to do with a circle. Sound was circular, my thoughts, ideas, movement, I couldn't even find a word to explain it to you.

Mentally everything was circular, especially visuals. and physically i started to experience the same thing. It was such a high concentration of energy i assumed it was suppose to be happening. But now I think about it, waves would explain more of what I felt, I just thought of them as circles. the weird thing is, in words this makes no sense....

yeah...maybe i have experienced something similar, but i'd just explain it so differently that it doesn't seem the same

very interesting read as someone who's prepping for his first time, I find these hands-on experiences absolutely fascinating that bit with the blanket sounds like an experience (I would never be able to get rid of it after that). But overall very well written article on a very unique and interesting experience, good shtuff.
