My best friend blew me off because I smoke!

This guy was my best friend for five years. We met as freshmen in high school when he stood up for me and no one else would. We've been friends forever, he was always there for me, I told him everything.
Well, when I started smoking regularely a year ago, he started blowing me off. The second I mentioned bud he'd get all uncomfortable, tell me i'm a drug addict, and hang up. Even when I don't mention it he talks like he's better than me because I smoke.
Fuck da haters... I cut him off, but damn... talking to him you could tell DARE had washed his brain inside and out.

well we all have our ideas of what is right or wrong for ourselves....but for him to try to impose it on you and judge your character by a facet of your personality just says that he/she has a lot to learn about humanity.

I quit smoking for my beau because he has a very similar opinion, thats life, sometimes you need to give things up, in this case you get to pick smoking or your friend.
