Well we had a perfect night. We're not really in an ideal situation right now. I got kicked out of my mom's house while she was fucked up and I'm living with him and his mother and grandmother. They left for the weekend, and we had a wonderful day full of fun, quality time, sex, etc. We were both very emotional and happy and we were standing together after I came out of the bathroom and he just got down on one knee and proposed.


We originally wanted to wait until we moved out at the end of the year but we agreed afterward that we didn't regret it and the moment just felt right. I have my promise ring still so the engagement ring can come whenever. I'm just happy. I was nervous at first to put it on Facebook because we haven't told his family yet but he said do it, and if they're not happy for us, then fuck them.

I mean, everyone sees me as someone serious for him and I've been introduced as his "esposa" (they're Cuban) so I don't think anyone would be opposed to it except maybe his mother but that's just because she's an idiot and always will see him as a baby. It's kind of like she wishes he was a momma's boy but he never will be.
