This weekend got a little outta hand. ends up one of my freinds had this backpack and I stashed this pill bottle with a little bud in it. There was also a bong on the table in the hotell room we were partin at. We both got away but he must go back to the cop-shop to get his ID. So my qwestion to yall is if they try to put this weed on him, can they ?? and if they do, what should I do ? go to the cop-shop and take the weed penaltys ?He can't afford to get busted again. And its lookin like if nobody steps up for the bud hell go down..
if it wasnt that much it would be pointless to charge him for it. But I dont know where you live and dont know what the laws are there. so dont take my answer as correct.
Maybe in canada, not so much in america. I was arrested recently with a baggie and little scraps of weed. Another friend of mine was pulled over for having an unregistered car (check bounced on the registration) and he was arrested because the cop searched the car up and down until he found a few little miniscule pieces in the carpet. I'm not sure about this, but even if somebody steps up and claims the weed there is a chance he can be arrested for the weed too, although I'm not too sure about that (if someone in a car has weed on them [not smoking] everyone in the car goes to jail, in some states) I'm not sure if I understand what your saying. You guys had a party in a hotel room, but the cops showed up so you guys fled leaving behind an ID, some weed, and a bong. If thats the case, I would advise your friend to call a lawyer before he goes to pick up the ID. They would probably be the better person to ask if he's going to get arrested. If I was to guess, I'd say there's a really good chance he will get arrested since the bong was in plain sight. If the bong wasn't in plain sight, he could argue that he didn't know what the contents of the backpack were, or that drugs were even in the hotel room. (depending on why the cops showed up there to begin with I guess)
Yea depends on where you are and the cops, in america it's common for kids to be arrested for empty baggies/bag scraps.
Yeah, he's in michigan I think. And here in michigan (and probably every other state), they are very strict on the 'If your the one who has it on you, your the one who gets blamed' thing. They wont give a shit if they hear you take the blame, the point is he is the one who got caught with it. Theres not much you can do man. Good luck to you and your friend
I'm confused. Did your buddy have some tree on him when he got busted by the cops, or did you leave a hotel room with personal effects left behind that somehow had Marijuana stashed in it? Cause he could deny possession on both points: there is no proof he knew what was in his back pack, he didn't have it on him (assuming), and B) He didn't have access to the back pack, it was at the hotel room. From what you are saying, they found some paraphenellia and a small amount of tree in a hotel room, right? was the room registered to dude? otherwise he's prolly free.
ok for cleification...This accured in Michigan,,HE hoped over the balcony when the rollers busted in . there for he left the bud and bong in the room, his Id was in his backpack with his moms name on it and the bud was in the same pack. ty all verry mutch for helping me out with this anny more coments would be great...peace
well, if the cops didn't ask him shit and he got away, fuck the id and fuck the backpack, forget about it and buy a new one. why risk being asked questions by the pigs when you can just go buy another id?? i'd rather spend 10 bucks rather than have to start answering questions.
