Every time I go to use the brake, I feel this terrible grinding sensation underneath the car, and it sounds like I'm dragging a dead body around. I didn't notice it until I was on my way to a friend's house. I figured it might go away, so I continued on. I also noticed a constant dull screech when I opened the window.

I pick him up, and as it turns out he got into a car accident last night because his steering wheel jolted and his brake rotor failed. He then described the same sound and grinding sensation that I was getting.

Sucky thing is, it was our only way into West Chester.

    Luckily nothing happened.

But it's getting towed tomorrow. I refused to drive it home from my friend's house.

    Oh well.

It sounds like your brakes are down to metal. Youll need pads and rotors

You're right, and with new tires it would cost $900.

Fuck it, the repairman said he'd buy the car for $500. Would've been more, but the dashboard has been used for frequent graffiti..

    Oh well.

    RIP Honda. :(
