My cat likes to eat my hemp scraps

I think she's either attracted to the smell or perhaps the tiny amount of THC in hemp actually does have some psychoactive effects on her- I head spider plant is suppose to, and she eats them a lot, too.

I don't care if she eats my hemp scraps, since I don't use them anyway, I just want to know if it's going to get her sick or bother her stomach or something.

 

Nahh it won't hurt her, I used to have a little shih tzu that loved to eat buds, then he would get so high he would lay on the couch and just chill and watch tv with us.

 

When I go outside to smoke some of the 8 cats we have will literally climb on Anything to get near me, and inhale the smoke - so I usually sit on the bench, and BAM - CATS in my lap, beside me, & standing/leaning on my shoulder for a whiff.
I love my cats.

 

I used to have a rabbit that would get stoned when I was smoking the room out with my bong. She would roll around on the floor like a mad thing.

 

i wouldn't let her eat long scraps, anything over 3 inches is probably a bad idea. when cats eat string, it can get caught in their intestines and actually cut through them as their bodies pass them...not a good thing. they can die from this!

 

Wow @ the people letting there animals get stoned.
I have heard of assholes feeding their iguanas pot leaves and making them very sick.

 

if its long enough it could be bad. cats are retarded. our cat ate like an 18" ribbon and had to go to the animal ER and cost $500 to get xrays and all the work. I think she passed it with laxatives though. But maby they can digest hemp? Probably not. my dog tries to eat my hemp too.
