thats a nice piece. its a nice change to see something more metallic as opposed to the standard semi-clear glass

 

anyone know why pipes will change colors

Yeah. A lot of it is from tar and other bad stuff in smoke (which is why smoke turns your fingernails yellowish). If you clean the pipe it will come off and look like new.

 

That's awesome! looks thick as fuck, and I assume it hits fairly smooth

The name fits it well. I really like the parts that look 'webbed'.

damn that thing has alot of colors to it. each side looks like a different piece. but beautiful none-teh-less

 

Colors change in pipes because of the different materials used in making the pipe. Glass blowers put in bits of gold and other metals that will change colors once heat has been applied, like after use. Resin also helps because it provides a dark, contrasting background.

considering the amount of detail thats in the pipe and how thick it is it's worth it imo. 38 bucks is also gonna get you a shitty bong too.
