the chairs are a great idea, tell me what did you place inside them as stuffing?

 

I used the same fluff that is used in stuffed animals. I used 4-5 bags of it for each shroom chair.

 

ah when ive bought bags of that stuff the bags were tiny, i need to get hold of some bigger bags. actually im looking for organic bean fillers for bean bags. you've not see nany have you? I'm avoiding polestyrene.

 

hmmmm i haven't been able to find any organic bean fillers. that would be uber cool to get a hold of that stuff. I hear ya on trying to avoid polestyrene. I made those shroom chairs for an "Alice in Wonderland" themed party. I used what they supplied me with. I only supplied my sewing machine.

The chairs are amazing.
I bet if you got made enough and hit up a few craft shows in the summer, you'd sell a good number of them.

 

I want to actually hit up a few hippie flea markets/craft sales this summer. I need to start making more things.

 

You'd definitely make a killing. And I'd definitely be interested in buying something (like a tutu) or trading, but currently at this exact moment in time, I've found myself broker than broke and without a working sewing machine or any decent materials to make anything. But I will definitely end up hitting you up when I do have cash because I want to build my fairy costume (Halloween 2006, woot!).
