I've been wearing a Diva Cup for years. I apply it by sitting on the toilet, pressing the Diva Cup down, to make it flat, then folding it over. Next, I insert it a little more than half way in, let it go, then turn it, I feel a pop, and push the rest of it up, so only the tip is sticking out. Everything is good, then a hour or so passes, and I feel a gnob rushing down, think my Diva Cup caught it, but no... it has leaked through. This has been happening for years, since I started wearing it. I figured it was becuase the Diva Cup isn't as good as it claims to be. But, I was looking at some minimialists, naturalists on Youtube, and the conversation of the Diva Cup was brought up a lot. All these girls are raving about how great it is. So, what is wrong with me? By the way, I moisten the Diva Cup, my hands, and you know with water to make inserting easier. I will admit, it's a little hard sometimes. I think they might have to make a tinier size, then the two for pre-pregnancy and post-pregnancy. I have the pre-pregnancy. I'm considering trying the post-pregnancy. Maybe I have a post-pregnancy you know what without having kids. ????
Something She Should Place Over Her "Cakehole" But Is Really Designed To Plug The "Other Hole"........ Cheers Glen.
Not good for the environment, and the tampons are not good for your down there parts. Too many chemicals that fuck with your chemistry.
You know, I HAVE been wondering about that recently..... I don't actually like having a tampon in, but my periods are usually only a few days, so I just put up with it....
Oh, and they last longer. Personally, for me I am allergic to whatever tampons are made of. Last time I wore one, my down there parts swelled up, and I couldn't get the damn thing out. Had to go to the doctor, and was told I was allergic to the material. I still don't think I am actually allergic. It sounds too stupid to believe. Allergic to tampons? Come on, now. I am already allergic to condoms becuase it's made of latex. Now, tampons. Fuck you. Just go fuck yourself.
There are also reusable pads, and even tampons that are healthier for you. Diva Cup is just one option.
They are awesome! No risk of TSS, and you only have to change once every 12 hours. And it saves you money too.
I tried it last night, and it gave me this dull pain on my left, whatever that area is called, right below the stomach. Also, I got scared it would get lost in there. I mean, I know logically things can't get lost in there. But, I still got scared. I did try it, though. Twice. And it actually does works. I'm just really scared, and that dull pain concerned me. Thanks for helping.
Sheer prefection, this video is. Lol! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qjpoiYTFNk She actually makes a good point of how weird it is to use in public restrooms. People look at me funny, like I'm washing my hands clean after committing murder.
Why would you time it for needing to be done in a public restroom? Home seems like a far better choice for this.
I can't believe I missed out on the whole Diva Cup thing. It reminds me of a contraception diaphragm which I did use for a little while and found to be really uncomfortable.
