my excitement of the day - whats yours?

the local news at 5pm has a question of the day and asks people to email in a short answer and they'll read some of the emails. so the question was about how long recess should be because a school was cutting down from 30 minutes to 15 minutes.

so i emailed in saying that i think recess should be as long as any other class period, kids need to be more active. and it was the first email they read - was so excited

My excitement for the day..hmmm Tonight Bill and I are taking the boys to a Masquerade Jam at school. Bill said he'd make out with me in the bathrooms. j/k

I took medicine for the bubble I feel in my head. It knocked me out and I slept for an hour. Damn colds.

 

from what i've seen at my work during the summer, kids are far from being active enough - so yea, the question was right up my alley

We didn't get to get in there however I did have a clown sticker stuck to the bottom of my shoe. I didn't know it till we got in the truck to leave.

there hasnt been any excitement today. all ive done is sleep in, watch tv, eat lunch, drive my baby home, wash clothes, clean dishes, sweep the floor, download photos and eat more.

of course i should be studying my ass off since i have exams soon. FUCK

 

well i tried a little experiment and experienced something i never would have expected.

the most basic and simple of shinto ritual, and felt an immediate and overwhelming energy feeling of being spiritualy hugged and welcomed.

just the ablutions and bowing and clapping at a rather simple alter/shrine of my own devising.

it's not like ever known or even immagined anything about this before, and anyone who knows could probably point out a million zillion things that would not conform to their own expectations.

i'm not promoting, i'm not suggesting, i'm not anything, but since the question is here, that is my today's (tecnicly yesterday's) answer to it.

My excitement was watching a warthog root through a bunch of dirt with his snout. It was a live camera in Africa. He made funny noises

Well this was not written today... but my excitement of the day is making cheese steaks (again) and playing monopoly (soon)

having this truck fly past me and become my pace car for my ride back home. yea, for the last 50 miles of the trip i was going 80 mph +

i had a excitment last night. i got to see saw three and just had a really good time. and i used my atm card for the very first time and had really good peach tea. it was one of those days that just went well.

 

I bought a Red Bull and a pack of Parliaments, that's all the excitement I need.
