My experience with Salv/some beginner questions

Hi everyone,

So I had a few questions about salvia and the terminology used on this forum, but I would also like to share my experiences, as they are often fun to read/discuss.

Questions:

1) What do you guys mean by ego death?
2) What is meant by "breaking through?"
3) The only times I've been able to go on really intense trips is when I smoked weed before...does anyone else find this or have an explanation?

Anyway, I thought I'd share two of my more vivid experiences on salv.

Quantity - 1/6 g, 30x standard extract

I was in my car baked with a couple of my friends and this was my first time trying it. I took a really big hit (not knowing what to expect), and then I started to see penguins dancing up my arms. Then I looked up and the clouds had clown faces on them. This was also my first time with hallucinogens, so I was just trying to really have fun with my experience. Apparently I then lost control of my body and my head fell on the horn (my friends quickly picked me up), but I thought I fell through the world...similar to that as if your vision went to extreme fish-eye vision and you just keep going down a never ending chasm. My friends kind of shook me out of it after that b/c I was apparently drooling and laughing hysterically, and I became more sober in sequential waves after that.

Quantity - 1/6 g, 30x standard extract

I did it the next day as well with the same group of friends, but in the middle of a baseball field at night. I took a massive hit, and the last thing I remembered was everything in my body letting go as I stared at a lampost. I don't know how I got there, but I travelled across all of space to a physical classroom where all the stars and planets (and me) were students, and the universe was the teacher. There, I felt I learned everything that would and has ever happened in all of what we perceive as time, annnd then I was once again shaken out of it asking my friends how I was doing. Unfortunately, I forgot what the universe taught me, but I came out of it with a very overwhelming feeling of calmness, knowing that everything that ever was and is would be alright in the end. It should be noted I was pretty ripped before this trip as well.


I've tried salv (40x, 30x) on several other occasions, but I can never get the crazy visuals going again. I didn't know until very recently that you needed a jet lighter, but would one make that much of a difference in one's trip? Also, would the blazing beforehand help to get rid of any anxiety/overexcitment about the trip?

2)Trip 2 would no doubt be a breakthrough, its when all of consenual reality is completely obliterated and you often travel to some other perceived place and/or dimension.

1)Ego death is when there is no perception as 'I' and you simply become a filter of awareness and energy for the universe and cosmos.

3) no I find I can breakthrough on salvia all by itself quite easily, I've done it with weed a few times I could see how it may make it easier to breakthrough.

Haha thanks! Yeah the 2nd trip was pretty crazy, I think I grew quite a bit in terms of personality from that trip too (more calm and able to accept things)...unfortunately I haven't been able to have another breakthrough since then, but I think from reading some of the posts on this forum that its just an equipment issue and not a tolerance one.

 

Yah if anything salvia almost has reverse tolerance. I breakthrough on salvia much easier than when I started.

Wow ur second trip sounds good... I'm glad u got to experience what the universe ha to say. It's funny cause one of the threads are my first post to. We came here together with similar post isn't that weird lol good to have u by my side lol. Question should I be a lil high before Tryin my next bowl of salvia? Let me know how u felt. And what brand did u use? An allso listen to everything the universe has to say. Hope my full breakthrough was like urs
