    My recent experiences with every recording on the phone I encounter:

    "If you want A, say A. If you want B..."
    Me: "A!"

    "If you want C, say C. If you want D..."
    Me: "C!"

    "If you want..."
    Me: "Operator!"
    "I didn't quite hear you. If you want..."
    Me: "Operator!"
    "I still didn't quite hear you. If you..."
    Me: "Operator!"
    "Good bye..."
