My first stoned post

Hello out there....

Well, I'm blazed out of my tree right now, and I've seen others posting things while stoned, and I figured "What the hell? I'll post stoned too."


Anyway, so uh... how's the weather?... uh... Catch that Dodger's game last week?

DAMMIT!!!

I can't think of anything to talk about. I just stared at the monitor for like 5 minutes straight. I didn't do a god dam thing but drool on my keyboard.
Anyway, add to this thread if you can think of anything to say. I'll just check up on it every now and then.

well, i've had one guinness and two hits of some middies.....i wouldn't say i'm either drunk OR stoned, but the small effects of both things are combining enough to make me feeling pretty mellow and relaxed. and the knowledge that i'll be chowing down on some good salmon in about half an hour or so is also pretty gratifying. gotta love the occasional early dinner/extremely late lunch.....

theres a sweet episode of "tales of the gun" on the history channel right now, about sharpshooters and snipers and such.

 

Man, I'm really stoned. I've just realised that ever since I saw Dazed and Confused I say 'man' a lot. Ahaha.

Also I'm hungry.

i dont usually like gun and military related programs on tv too much, but once in a while theres one on that i think is really interesting, and this is pretty decent.



oh man, i'm baking the salmon filet and this house smells amazing! like delicious fish and butter and pepper and such......it's wrapped in foil, too, so it wont be too dry......

this is gonna be delicious!

 

I hate salmon. I hate all seafood/fish, as a matter of fact. I don't know why. I hope you enjoy your meal, though, as I am sure you will.

Tales of the Gun is the only military/history show I watch, really, and I rarely watch it. I enjoy it when I do watch it though.

 

oh man, i am not a big fan of seafood except fish. i love fish, and most fish i'll enjoy thoroughly assuming it's fresh and well prepared. however i generally hate other seafood....hate clams and oysters and such, dont generally care much for lobster or crab or anything (i have a prejudice against foods with exoskeletons and more than four legs...and pinchers are definitely a bad thing....)


but salmon is one of my very favorite fishes! dolphin fish and grouper are great, too.

Well, you've never said anything like that to me, so I don't think there's anything for me to forgive... maybe somebody else will step up.

Anyway, I'm coming back down now. I'm still pretty stoned though. I'm just chillin' listenin' to music. I make my own mixes - all the trippy ass shit I can find, plus a lot of hard techno and some industrial. What do you guys like to listen to? Does anyone make their own mixed and then get blazed and listen to it?

 

The other day I tried some fried alligator with cocktail sauce. That shit was bangin. It was at a restaurant called Papadeaux, which is a gourmet seafood place, but they have chicken too, so I was alright. That place is expensive. Have you ever heard of it?

this was some of the best fish i've had in months! seasoned it up with a little tony's, a healthy amount of added cayenne pepper, some black pepper, lemon juice, olive oil, and after cooking just a bit of salt.......

it was so good as to be called glorious, i must say. i wish i could afford to cook this way all the time....but fresh fish is expensive....moreso than other meats even.

if i had to limit the types of meat i ate to three things for the rest of my life, it would probably be salmon, lamb, and steak......

mmmmm.....i almost want to cook one of the lambchops now, too lol

That's actually not a bad thing to love at all. Fish is one of the healthiest meats you could eat.

 

exactly. healthy AND delicious. unfortunately i also love steak, lamb, and both beef and pork potroast.....and then theres burgers and boneless wings and so on.....

but fish is damned good, and extremely nourishing, unlike most other meats.

 

TNS, we've got a papadeaux's here in denver. damn good food. I didn't realize it was an upscale chain. I like gator alright. I used to get it all the time at this little cajun joint bayou bobs but I think that place is closed now.

 

It may not be too upscale. It may have just been expensive because we had 9 people eating, but $410 is rediculou, even for 9 people.

It was very good food though, mostly because I am not the one that had to pay for it. Our cousin-n-law paid the entire bill.
