My friend got murdered

So today my friend who I don't really keep in touch with, but my good friend nonetheless got stabbed by two of his friends in his car. The cops haven't released any details yet, but I feel so bad for the kid. He got a lot of rumors started about him and many people don't like him for some reason, but hes not a bad kid. He got arrested for child pornography, but the case was dropped because someone was stealing his internet to download it and it wasn't him downloading it. He really got shit a lot worse than he deserved. I mean I heard he was kinda stingy and grimey to some people, but to most of the people I know he was a real cool guy. I've known him since I was about 11 or 12, and we used to be pretty close. He was there for the first time I smoked weed. Few years later, he put on a lamp shade and jumped in the Goodwill donation box and almost got stuck. Then he got arrested for almost burning the park down. Then I held the dude back that was trying to beat the shit out of him at a party. Now he's just dead.

And I guess the details were revealed, and now I'm even more pissed. How the fuck are you going to kill someone over cigarettes? I'm almost certain when they get the suspect I'm going to know who he is too. What a fucking shame

The thing that makes me the most mad is that this happened in one of the richest neighborhoods in Waterbury, and all the white kids there think they are the next fucking Al Capones. Bunch of fucking two-faced scumbags is all that comes out of that neighborhood.

Connecticut is nice when it's not home. If I were wealthy I wouldn't be moving to Fairfield County... MAYBE Litchfield but TBH I'd much rather move to Maine and be near my family and live among people who tend to be more civil and have better manners. Something that struck me when I moved here 23 years ago- and it still amazes me- how uncivil, unclassy, and self-centered so many people here seem to be. No manners or common courtesy among soooooo many.

 

Its like if you don't have a tight group of friends everyone is out to get you, and even if you do have close friends here you still don't know what to expect.

 

its strange how that works out. isnt connecticut the wealthiest state?
i have very mixed feelings about maine. i went to camp there a few times when i younger and had a positive experience for the most part. the state is ok but its just not diverse at all. when i go there its like people are seeing a dark skinned person for the first time and cant believe their eyes. i have experienced some really racist shit there
