i agree that right/wrong is not clear distinction, but it definitely is NOT OKAY to masturbate in a classroom and more than likely not okay to do so anywhere in public.

That is pretty funny. I wouldn't say it is sick nor okay either. I know for sure that I would never do that nor would have ever done that in my more sexually-charged teenage years even.
