friday i started my alacabenzi's and mestizo's and i just wanted to let everyone know how they're doing as of right now... Day 2: the alacabenzi's are already showing a nice mycelium growth, and the mestizo i can see little bits of white, but not as much as the alas. i made more jars of the mestizo though, kinda wish i did it the other way around :cheers2:
the two i have growing right now and my next grow i am going to grow from the cakes, i do eventually plan on doing the bulk method.
Nice. Is this your first time growing? Ive never done any type of cake, always grain/bulk. Your jars started really quick, mine usually take a couple days longer to show signs of growth. I'm assuming you started from spore. Good luck!
yes it's my first thus why i'm so excited. and yeah i figured they would start to show growth 4-5 days in. yes i started from 10cc syringed spores. maybe 4-5 days i'll put up pics if i think they're significantly growing. i put the alacabenzi just on my one stand in my room, left them out (since i only did 4 jars of them) the mestizo are in a tinted draw. i'm not sure if that has any sort of impact on the growth though.
