yeah zebb..it was a major project..i totally enjoyed the process.i have painted a couple of murals before but this was the best.
I like your work, humm. A lot of it reminds me a a loose interpretation of Ivan Albright's work. Very nice.
Zebb...thanks..you know i use to know Albright but he got lost in my history..just looked him up again and yeah..i would actually like to get tighter and more descriptive lyrical and more narative. my latest work is different to the work on devart....i spent 2 months and 2 weeks on the mural and i seemed to change totally. i actually wanted to change. so i had a big (for me) break from picture making. currently i am working in acrylics and loving their sensitivity. so yeah thanks for the feed back and good wishes to you.
Tyrsonswood thanks and e7m8 revera....well for a start it is a mural. However is seeing no comparison. the mural is romantic and innocent. revera was very political. i feel the only similarity is that they are on a wall. but to to mention revera and my mural in the same sentence is indeed an honor. in fact i have thought about becoming a mural painter. you know mexico has never had a woman mural painter of importance. however its just too difficult. painting some of thoes corners was like strawberry picking..i felt like i had a knife in me back...truly. if you know of a mexician female mural painter please let me know. but any way im not strictly female im gq m to f trans..so maybe that counts me out. derr
i did this self image about a year ago. it was about being stuck in a trailer park in so ca in summer. not a place you want to go..ay.
