My New Bong Died Before It's Time.........

So, I do happen to have a small bong but it was one that someone gave me a while ago and it's one of the cheep kind. It works and does the job but I have been planing on getting a good one for a very long time. Last weekend (Saturday), I got the chance.

A buddy of mine and I drove up to Wisconsin for a bachlor party. We stopped by another friends place up there to pick him up. While we were smoking a bowl to get the day started he mentioned that we had some time to kill and there were a bunch of great Head Shops near by. I have been wanting to check these places out for a while. Chicago has great shops, don't get me wrong but they tend to run on the expensive side.

We decided to have a little breakfast first, but the places were close. The first shop was nice. I picked up a nice little brass bowl with a long stem for like $15.00 and he put a package of screens and pipe cleaners in at no charge. I thought it was a nice touch. His selection was a little on the small side but some nice stuff. Then we went to the other place. Huge selection. I almost found the bong that I wanted right away.

It was a tall, straight tube style pipe, kinda like a Roor. It had a carb on the back of the tube and the slide was one piece that would go all the way into the water. I bought an extra slide as well. I spend about $100.00 bucks all told and then I also picked up some 40x Salvia as an afterthought. They were really great about it and wrapped it all up in bubble wrap and put it in a box for me. We left and I put the bag and box in by friends trunk.

We had a great day. Lunch, boat cruise, brewry tour, nice dinner and of course the strip club. Lots of fun had by all. So, we are driving home and I am like, dude, let's light up my new bong to end off the evening. I get home and get all of my stuff out of the car. My hands were a little full with my jacket and stuff. As I am walking up to the door of my house, the bottom of the box falls open and I feel the weight of the box turn to nothing as the bong falls out of it. I tried to crunch up in order to keep it from falling so far and so fast but when glass meet the pavement, I just heard the shatter. It was toast, I never even go the chance to smoke it.

Needless to say, I am way upset about it. I can never have nice things. So, now I have two new slides and nothing to show for it. I might get the chance to get back up there in a couple of months. I just hope that I can find the same bong so I can just buy it without the slides. Anyway....

 

The saddest part of this story is it died with never having marijuana pass through it

thats very disappointing dude...one of my friends had an awesome bong at their apartment and i went over the one day to see them picking up glass pieces off the floor and smoking out of an old tiny glass bong. was pretty depressing and that thing was well used. id be devastated if i bought a new bong and it shattered before i could even use it

 

That sucks. My friend burried his bong when it broke lol.

We burried it with a bowl in it.

One time we made a joke about my friend because he always fiends for a toke so we said he dug the bong up and toked the bowl that was burried in there.

He didn't do it though but it would have been funny if he actually did lol.

 

I just buried my broken bong a week ago lol. It was a dear friend, my first bong and a lot of friends' first high. Had to be done.
