My tattoo Idea, advice please.

Alright, I was thinking a nice tattoo would be to get all of my family's handprints and make one handprint with different parts of theirs combined. I would include my mom, dad, three sisters, and fiance. The symbology being, they have all left their mark on me for life.

My dilemma is I don't know who's to use for what. I have to include the following:
Thumb
Index
Middle
Ring
Pinky
Palm

I don't know who's I should use for which. What do you think?

 

Here's how I would do it: My mom for my thumb (the one you use the most, really, because our mothers usually have the biggest effects on our lives), my dad for my pinky (the pinky seems to guard the rest of our fingers from the outside, like a dad is traditionally "protective"), and my sisters in the middle. Then my fiance's palm since he/she is sort of your base!
That's my interpretation, anyway

It's a wonderfully creative and beautiful idea, I love it!

 

yeah what a great idea i . wish i had thought of it, i just got back from new york city to get my 7th tattoo which is also for my family i have a ring of lilys to form a heart with the vines and by each lily is the initial of my 3 siters my brother, my 2 nephews and my neice kayla, and in the middle of the heart is my family name grace it came out beautiful. when u finally get yours can you post so we can see it ?
