........................................................................... That's right, she's pregnant with twin boys!
Congratulations! That's awesome! Do you know if they are fraternal or identical? Do they share the same sac and placenta or are they seperate? We knew right away that our twins were fraternal, as they had their own seperate sacs and seperate placentas, not to mention that they were boy and girl, hence, identical was not a possibility! How cool! I bet you're on cloud nine! Congrats again!!!
Thanks, I was told that because they are both the sam sex, and each have their own plecenta and sac, we can't know if they're identical or not till they're born. If they shared the sac and lplecenta, they would be identical. Because they don't, they may be from two different eggs, or from one that split very early.
Congratulations. The tittle of your thead leads me to believe that you are a freak. Nothing personal.
Cool! I have three brothers, two of them are fraternal twins, it's cool, it can be a strain on the finances but it'll be more than worth it. Twins are hip.
And my name didn't tip you off either? No, actually, I've always been just a semi-freak. And since I became a father I've toned that down alot. Thanks for the congrats, everyone.
Hey freakwentflyer, make sure you do your research, because there's a lot of great discounts and freebies out there for parents of multiples! Babies 'R' Us gives a 20% off things such as car seats, high chairs, cribs, bassinets, play pens, and dressers if you're buying for twins. Many other department stores don't advertise discounts, but if you ask, many times you'll be rewarded with one. How's your little girl taking the news of having two brothers? My oldest son was thrilled when he found out that he was getting both a brother and a sister, but when they were first born, he bonded more with his sister and was pretty pissed off about having another little guy to compete with for his mama's attention. Sometimes he was outright mean, and he didn't want much of anything to do with him. Now however, he's closer to his brother, and the two of them pick on their poor little sister (she was born an hour after her brother, so she's the youngest of the three.) It's cool though, because my twins have bonded so much more lately, now that they're rapidly approaching their 2nd birthday. It's so cute when they share their sippy cups, offer a bite of their sandwich, or console one another when one is upset. Congrats again!
HEY HIPPYCHICKMOMMY- Thanks for the tip on the discounts. I'll be sure to check them out. My daughter Delaney was so upset that neither are gonna be a little sister. But she's such a daddies girl that in the long run I think she'll be glad they're both boys. BLACKIE- Ain't no sons of mine, gonna be suckin' each others thumbs! Or anything else for that matter. Besides, they're in two seperate sacks.
