I planning a vacation for August with friends from school and I'm trying to decide between the two places. I know they're very different and I will have a completely different type of vacation depending on which one I choose. If I go with Myrtle Beach I'll end up staying a condo or house on the beach which will be fairly cheap since I'll be splitting the cost with at least 4 other people. With Las Vegas I'll be in a hotel and will definitely end up spending more money but there will be more things to do and a better nightlife So..Myrtle Beach or Las Vegas..which one would you choose and why?
To me, Myrtle Beach without contest. I'm not into gambling, drugs, and prostitutes as much as I once was. A jog, some sun, and smiling at pretty ladies on the beach is all I need. Edit: But I'm saying that also because I've been in the throes of nicotine withdrawal for the past 48 hours (i.e.; I'm trying to clean up my act and Vegas is not conducive to that, etc. etc.).
I love it when people do places... I'd like to go to Vegas, so that would be my choice. Rollercoasters attached to buildings, casinos, drugs and hookers are all wonderful inventions.
Pfft. No one invented hookers. They have been here since the dinosaurs. Like sharks and horseshoe crabs.
thats another place I was looking at. have you been there before? i feel like there is just too much to do and too many places to go in cali. i wouldnt know where to begin with planning a vacation there I think im just going to end up going with the beach. flights to SC are really cheap right now and im going with 5 other broke college girls so it seems like the right move
I prefer Myrtle Beach, its very nice one and most Myrtle Beach hotels and resorts offer inclusive vacation packages in multiple themes including golf vacations, cuisine, attractions, theater and live entertainment, wedding packages and more.
Another big difference between the two places is the type of people that you are likely to be around most of the time. Myrtle Beach is full of stupid Southern rednecks, while Vegas is swimming in uptight, pretentious, LA assholes who will hate you for not wearing expensive designer clothes. If you find one of these groups easier to tune out, that could make one trip more enjoyable than the other.
