I got Mystic Tanned for Haloween and now it fading in patches and looks really gross. I do not want to get Mystic Tanned ever again (I used to get it every week), the only reason I did it was for Halloween. How can I get it off or make it look better. SHould I just tan in beds everyday and get really tan, should I put bronzer on the light spots. Help? Please!?

tanning beds cause skin cancer... But honestly I have no idea what to do...those spray tans seem pretty strange to me... Id just put make up on...or something. Good luck

Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate. It will help break it down. And then you could use a tinted moisturizer to help even out your skin. Or mix some foundation with regular moisturizer.

I agree, definately exfoliate, that should help... also for next time, if there is a next time, remember to exfoliate before you go for that mystic tan. It should help get all the dry/dead skin off so that it doesn't end up doing the patchy thing. Or just stick to your guns and don't do it again.

Gently exfoliate, don't scrub... that's your skin you're talking about not a pan with baked on food! :) It's not going to come off right away but gently exfoliating will help it along a bit. I'd say since you've been tanning so much you should also moisturize... well, you should be doing that anyway especially since you're tanning a lot, but you're putting your skin through hell here, so maybe try something with aloe and stay away from the tanning beds for a while. Also, moisturized skin tans better and holds a tan longer, so if you do that you might not feel the need to tan so much since it'll last longer. That is why they say not to tan dry in tanning beds, you get the best affect on moisturized skin.

i used to go to tanning beds in the winter for my winter blues. it really helped. i miss being able to do that, twice a week for a few weeks to help reset my head. never really tanned, though. wasn't into looking like leather.

I went everyday last winter and spring. I have been better about it, only going once or twice a week now. I went to itan and they gave me a product called mystic fresh and something that breaks down dha. I am officially a white girl again...who is craving going tanning.
