gawd some people need to relax about the whole christmas thing. they gotta know that NOT EVERYONE is gonna have the same belief and not EVERYONE is gonna be as enthiused about christmas...that's so lame.

Well, at first my mom just wanted to go see a movie and out to eat on thanksgiving but my dad said no..haha, and now we have to have a family get together which is nothing but drama, drama, drama, I always make sure to tape it so i have something entertaining to watch later..hehe, no but seriously my family is notorious for drama, thats why i dont really talk to them..hehe i sit in the corner with a beer, waiting for the show to begin..hehe

oooo your family sounds like they need some serious fun time. what would happen if you started throwing food at them? i've always wanted to do that to certain family members that agitate me...like if they say something that is jsut to be rude and spiteful i'd like to pick up a handfull of stuffing and say "oh yah? well how bout this for a thought?" and then hurl it at them and then sit down calmly and continue eating..... that would be great..but unfortunately i keep my mouth shut and bite my tongue

and as for my plans... my step dads family is coming over. they're not all that bad but my mom doesnt get along with one of his sisters. so theres gonna be some tension in the air..and this is my first thanksgiving and christmas i have spent with my mom since i was 12 so it's kinda special in a way...it kinda worked out too cuz my younger sister is going to her dads for thanksgiving (he's trying to be more involved with her life...so i was still shocked when he called and asked if she wanted to come spend thanksgiving with him)


i think cranberry juice stinks. it has some foul smell to it and i dont like beets. ..that came out of nowhere...sorry

i wish we had alcohol in the house to spike the punch...cuz that would be great. everyone getting happy and rowdy and they wont know why. but my mom nor step dad drink...i just hope they dont get all wierd on me when i buy alcohol after i turn 21 in december.

i love cooking! i want to make something but im not sure yet what ill make. maybe a casserole or pie or something non traditional. I have always wanted to have a non traditional meal for thanksgiving...like tacos! that would be super grand. i'll do that when i have my own family or something.
mmm have you heard of oreo balls? those are great..you just take a package of oreos and smash them up and then add a thing of cream cheese to it. roll them up in balls and melt some baking chocolate in the microwave and then dip the oreos balls in the chocolate and let them chill in the fridge... they're awesome.

do you guys play games on thanksgiving while the guys watch football? i think im gonna buy the game cranium for us all to play cuz i'm gonna get bored quick. and well my step dad built this game called CORN HOLE....(hahahahaha i never heard of it til' i met him) and it's outside and i wont be hanging outside very long cuz of the coldness. so i thought cranium would be super duper..or battle of the sexes! (that game is pretty fun too)

no we dont ever play games no one can get along long enough too..hehe except me and my parents, sometimes we play cards..haha thats a maybe..Those games sound fun, i love games, sometimes I bring my Guess who game and me and my nieces and play..haha, maybe I should bring that up, try bringing a game and have everyone play, maybe that would stop some of the drama

i think that once you ( or whoever)have a kid you just begin to think differently. cuz you're now in charge of this other human and you have to think of them first. they are your top priority and you have to learn as you go. but yah i have my fears about having kids too. i think for now i just want a cat to take care of and i'll be satisfied with that.

oh gawd haha how hilarious that'll be. if we ever become moms we'll have to move closer to eachother so that we can make the other one feel better when she forgets where she put the carseat with the kid in it at. hopefully i have a loooooooooooooooong time (or if ever) before i have any kids.
i mean i've babysat before and even went to camp this past year as recreational staff for lil kids and that was cool but it's not the same when you gotta deal with them 24/7 ya know? Kids are cool but you know what im getting at.
