Hey, next time you're out and about keep a lookout for a quite common incense called Nag Champa. I shit you not, if you have that burning in the background it just makes your night better; it's got a relaxing aroma which makes you feel generally chilled out (especially while high). It's not just a smell; it creates an atmosphere.

We burn incense once in a while, just for a change, because our house - ALWAYS - smells like weed/hash/oil. Always.
But yeah, we usually burn Nag Champa (same shit as in the picture)... there are these Rasta ones, I don't know what they're supposed to smell like, but it's a slight change from Nag Champa and we burn those once in a while, too.

Nag champa is my favorite incense by far, and my second favorite is sandlewood but i wouldnt use it to cover up while smoking because it is a more humble scent and is not overpowering a nice daytime burn i feel.

    Ehh, now, that depends...
I used to hate them. But now, our house seriously smells like weed ALL the time. And when we burn incense, we just burn them away from any people (in the kitchen sometimes, since it's open to the living room too) or near an open window (during the warmer seasons). It isn't too strong that way, and just adds something new to the every-day smell of weed/hash/oil.

Of course, not everybody can (or does) live in a house that smells like weed all the time, but I live with two dudes and a dog, so we don't have to care, haha. Incense are just a change of flavour, er, smell.

I always use Nag Champa, it's my favorite incense to burn during sessions or anytime else.

I almost bought some Nag Champa incense a few weeks ago, but I went for the ones shaped like leaves instead.

I have some seriously cool incense burners; I have a couple from Syria with very intricate designs and are designed to hold two sticks at once to mix and match. I've got another one which is a giant tube pothead monster thing that completely covers the stick and all the smoke goes out through its mouth.

Unfortunately, I find incense to be quite strong and usually only burn a fraction of the stick at any one time. I prefer to use my array of scented candles to give a more relaxing and therapeutic environment.

i prefer my house/room to smell CLEAN

i know everyone has their preferance, and i doubt ppl care what i really think, but i prefer a clean smelling, fresh scent lingering around rather then a scent that brings images of hippy packed opium love dens.

That is perfectly fair enough; nobody has the right to voice a differing opinion on your personal taste.

Hippy packed Opium love dens are my bag though, and as an incense burner, the smell is clean with a fresh scent.

Incense is to me as air freshners, oil burners, strong odour producing devices (or whatever the hell else you use to get that clean smelling fresh scent) are to you.
