I think the cops showed great restraint and gave him ample opportunity to put his clothes on and avoid what went down. i also think in this instance use of the taser was justified because they were obviously getting nowhere using limited force to take him into custody.

hell they had problems restraining him using the taser.

the police were calm with him in the beginning...but I don't know by the end was the violence and tazing all that necessary? I mean it said that was at Cochella, and I've seen plenty of naked people running around festivals, usually they are on private property...so im kinda confused, guess i dont know enough about cochella...but he go unbothered at some other festivals??

 

what were they supposed to do? i mean i know in a perfect world they are supposed to let him go blah blah.

fact is when they decided to take him into custody he resisted,not only did he resist,he made it impossible for the three cops to restrain him without inflicting injury on him.

tell me what they were supposed to do to take him into custody?

i dont see where they did anything wrong. the dude was a dumb ass and got way less than he would have got in the same situation had there not been a crowd of hundreds with dozens of cameras surrounding them..

in the end,he got off easy the way i see it.

I'm gonna have to agree with HHB on this, the law states you have to be clothed in public. The cops were just doing there job and enforcing a law that was being broken. If the people in the crowd really cared about what was happening they woulda all gotten naked in protest to see what the cops would have done.

 

He's stupid because he took off the clothes and people were exposed to what half of them see in the mirror everyday and the other half have more likely than not seen at one point. Oh, the humanity!

Please, this man wasn't harming anyone or anything--except maybe for some irrational and outdated social mores. Not only could the whole incident have been avoided, but the cops were far from restrained. They may have given a veneer of patience at first but it's evident to anyone with eyes that they couldn't have sincerely wanted to avoid confrontation. Either that or state PDs needs to start checking prospective officers for manic depressive disorder. Did you see that one obese pig do a knee drop on the poor guy? Jesus christ.

He chose not to blindly follow some normal people who wear blue clothes and are supposed to be imminently respected because of it. Props to him. I wish the onlookers had done more than just yell.

 

Im gonna have to agree with HHB, they was going to allow him to enjoy the concert all along, all he had to do was put his clothes on.. And cover up, Ill bet he wasnt the only person told "put your clothes back on"
