There are many of course I could name. MANY!
But to name one, most recently..

    Black Sabbath - Sabotage
    Symptom of the Universe

The whole album is an amazing trip but that one kills, especially the ending!

    Good time.

    Tool-Lateralus
    Parabol/Parabola

I found this album interesting tripping in that it captures many facets of human emotion and experience. There are moments on there where one moment it elicits aggressive conviction and then the next it breakdowns into heartfelt vulnerability, it pierces into my psyche in that way.

Tool creates this sound that's larger then the individual musicians on this album. This is one of the first post millenium rock/metal albums I listened to tripping and comparing it to the some of the 1960's/1970's psychedelic stuff I listened to, Lateralus has a precision and focus to it that I found unique and It's able to touch on the ineffable while still sounding grounded.

First time I did LSD Yes's "Close to the Edge" completely blew my mind. Every lyric in this song (which is generally acknowledged as having incomprehensible lyrics) made perfect sense and was specifically about my life:

The best one was the one that was specifically created for me and was played throughout the fibre of my being. Unfortunately - I don't have access to a CD of it.

Pink Floyd - The Wall was the one that took me on the most amazing emotional ride.

Although normally, it would be uplifting trance.

One time late at night I heard something like Revolution #9 by the Beatles mixed with The Happy Birthday Song.

That was pretty cool, although I don't know if it was a mix or just two AM stations interfering with each other. There used to be a night time show way back in '70 or '71 that was called "Nocturnal Vibrations" and they would do some strange stuff. Or maybe I imagined it. But it was still good.

So...I don't know......why would somebody broadcast The Happy Birthday Song at night?

In 1984 I saw the video on MTV of "Spirits in a Material World" and it seemed like the heaviest trippiest thing ever. Reallly deep. I saw it again just recently and hoped it would trigger a good flashback but no such luck.

This song really, REALLY captures the "frying" feeling of LSD for me . . . listening to it while coming up on acid is . . . intense...in the middle when it slows down it gets even more fried :sifone:

I don't even like JA that much but there's a few tracks like this one that are killer on LSD.

^ my favorite GD song, always gets me in a great mood.

Pink Floyd's "Time" is a guaranteed jaw dropped while peaking :D.....so many choices. Not even getting into Yes, King Crimson, CLASSICAL MUSIC, etc....

I've recently got into Shpongle as well, a total escape from what i'm used to playing.

Been checking out all their tunes! Brilliant! I've never been a fan of this kind of music but it has such amazing soundscapes! I plan on putting on more next tripping party :)

I been waiting for them to come to Toronto or at least the area again, i can imagine of of them shows is a trip itself let alone being high!

You will be attending if they do, Writer?

MGMT's album - 'Congratulations' blew my mind while tripping pretty hard on LSD!

It was like they new exactly what they were doing when they made this album. The song order on the album is very important as well. At the end of some songs, things would get crazy/wild/scary...like they were messing with you on purpose, and then all of a sudden..the song would end and transition into the next song..which was very mellow or space-like. It was just so intensehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycH-ozMaYHk"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycH-ozMaYHk

This song was amazing as well. Even though it's just a guy singing an old sailor song in French...it was so beautiful. It was like decades of history, as well as... culture, pride, sadness, visions of drunk sailors..singing their hears out, etc.. pouring out of his mouth. Painted very interesting pictures and landscapes in my head.

Also, lots of old classical music is very nice to listen to while tripping. Camille Saint-Seans, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Mozart...etc..
