Yeah, everyone raved about it to me, and quoted things that sounded funny, but when I watched it, I got really bored. Everyone said they didn't like it while watching it, but afterward when they thought of it, it made them laugh. That's why they'd all quote it. I think this is because it had good content, it just fell short on the delivery. If your friends act it out for you, it will be funnier than actually watching the movie....cause it had no plot anyway.....
I thought it was great. I love the whole wes anderson style, character based film thing that it had going on. And Napoleon is such a unique individual...all that stuff about his sweet skills and the way he says everything like an accusation - it's awesome.
Napoleon Dynamite is my all time favortie movie!!! Girls only want boyfriends who have skills. you know like nunchakus skills... please my lips hurt real bad!! i absoulty love that movie! ive seen it liek 30 times no joke! its awesome, if you havent seen it you HAVE TO GO SEE IT RIGHT NOW!!!

It was a pretty funny movie in a very stupid way. It was even funnier, but dumber the second time around. I hate that it was an MTV film, but the guy that wrote it seems cool. You've got to give them props though. There is no sexuality, no cursing, nothing, and it's still pretty funny.
That movie is hilarious! But I've gotten really tired of those idiots who quote it constantly. At first it was funny, but now, it ruinning it. I like the whole vintage look of it.
my little one loves that movie. she laughs at all the right parts. when we go to the video store she has to go find it and say "TINA! HAM!"

hah the first time i watched the movie i actully did think it was the worst movie ever made, but then i just had some green and god it was so funny, lol i love the bit were he says "your just jelous cause i'v been chatting to hot babes all day" lol ahh that kit. peace and love
I just watched it for the first time two nights ago and laughed my ass off through the whole thing. The only reason it is so funny is because all that shit actually happened in elementary school. You know tetherball kicks ass. I still can't figure out why they had recess in high school though...
that movie sucked gigantic donkey balls the first time, but it just gets better every time you see it, I actually like it now but I can still remember how much I wanted to have the actors impaled
