And have for as long as I can remember...I wonder why. I was up way too early for a Saturday and up way too late last night, so I ended up crashing for a couple of hours until just a little bit ago and now I feel all weird. What the fuck is up with that?
i really hate naps. once i go down, i'm down for the night. i'm completely useless after a nap. doesn't noticeably affect my stomach though...
it is physically impossible for me to nap, no matter how tired I may be...it just doesn't happen, I can't make my brain shut up
It gives me this weird indigestion. I hate naps, too, but sometimes I have to give in because I sometimes can't control my brain anymore and just go unconscious, lol. I hate that, too, because I can always feel that shit coming on and I try to fight it, and sometimes I'm successful, but most of the time, I end up passing out. And to me, it just feels like an insanely uncontrollable urge to just sleep, so I can't imagine it's anything neurologically wrong with me. Now my twitches...those are a different story, lol.
I get a weird indigestion too. I've never been good at taking naps. Even as a kid if I was told to go take a nap cause my parent's where sick of me running around on a constant sugar buzz, I couldn't do it.
I try not to take naps much. The entirety of my junior and senior years in high school, I slept in a series of naps every day. It really messed up my internal clock, lol.
Haha, I did that, too...but I kind of sucked at math, so...I still scraped by with a B, but I'm sure if I could've stayed awake, I probably would've done better. Maybe...the teacher still sucked. I slept in economics every day and when Coach would call me out on it and try to make me answer a question to blindside me, I'd always already know the answer, and resume the nap.
rarely. most of them were overjoyed to have someone scoring well on their tests without them having to go to the effort of actually teaching. not to mention, a sleeping student is rarely disruptive. in all of high school and college, i only had 2 teachers say anything. and one of them told me to go back to sleep after i informed him that i understood the subject matter and was just tired of going over it a thousand times for the slow students.
the best is getting a tap on your shoulder from your teacher, "the bell rang, you might wanna get up and go to next period" ha
