I know it's cliche and all but really....hit google.

There are a million and a half Government Canada sites out there that will have all of your answers. And if you're really serious about it, you're gonna have to read them anyways.

I've walked into a clinic a million times and just given them my name and birthdate and they never asked for anything else.

    grrrrrr

gotta love that one, americans can rip us off in business nafta trade, expolit our escources get first dibs on our oil while we cant even fuckin stuck pile our oil but they can with ours......now all they need to get surgery is stay here for three months ......

for the last six months I have been spending 5 to 6 hundred a week a WEEK on taxes, our health care system is already bieng threatened, and imigrants who dont pay into taxes get the benifits of my work without doing anything for it.

because even if you are a resident for three months that doesnt mean you can leaglly work here, and if your working illegally then your not paying into taxes.

health care is not free, it costs us money, doctors do not work for free,

our idiot government is already taking my money and spending it on some stupid campiagn to allie with america by bumping up armed forces....

socialisim only works if you put in the same as get you get out.

hey man, no offence I dont mean it that way.
though you know how illegal mexicans are looked upon in the states....

I dont want canada to start having that probloem with americans as our dollar reaches par, soon to pass the americans.

I mean Ima hippocritte I guess, if I were you I would be doing the same thing you are, trying to get here.

I guess Im just frusterated with how easily my dollars are spent....welcome to canadian politics

OH, and yeah you should see "SiCKO".

A lot of MM movies are extremist and his facts are usually a bit bent; however, I really feel that with this film he decided to really pay attention to that. CNN did a hilarious article trying to "uncover" the movie, and called their article "Fact Checking" or something like that. Basically, they said that all of the numbers and facts were genuine, but that he omitted that America has the shortest wait times and highest patient satisfactory. I thought it was a pitiful attempt at covering up the American health care system because of two reasons: 1) To be a satisfied patient, you have to be able to afford being a patient; 2) To have a short wait time, you have to be able to afford being a patient and waiting.

Most of the people in Michael Moore's movie couldn't even afford to be a patient. They're not satisfied with the healthcare system but they wouldn't count in CNN's little "But" article.

I've heard of that one before but haven't yet had a chance to see it. Times like this, I feel largely uneducated about the way our healthcare system works... And it's definitely time to brush up on that.

as long as "shrub"harperis in power things will decline in canada ..oh wait my english isn't that good ..you know what i mean by "shrub"??you know?? a little"bush"??.getting bad ..americans dictate to canada what laws to make and how to run our country ...time to take controlagain but a lot of it is the people's own fault .they elect corrupt officials and don't want to crimp their lifestyle so they have ne or two or no kids ..hence the doors to immigration have to be opened or the population will decline too much

I think every country needs to close down it's borders-we're all screwing each other over. Well, I'm not-BUT I see this situation isn't exactly good. If it helps-I haven't found the RIGHT Form of government yet. Something will always go crazy.

if every country closed down it's borders ,who would do the work??countries need skilled laborors from time to time to fill the demands .immigration is sometimes the only solution ...the illegals will always get in ...might as well make them legals and get them to contribute to the economy they are helping to build ..in other words ..pay taxes....if it hadn't been for immigratio ...none of you would be there now.........nor would i be here ....and my family has been here since the 1660s on one side and an aweful long time on the other side ....natives
