A drug was given to german troops to fuel the speed of there blitzkreig, what drug did they take?

Hitler's personal doctor used to give him so-called vitamin shots, it has never been 100% proven what was in it. Some indications show that it was a combination of things including some type of amphetamine. Hitler is known to have regularly been taking opiates, also.

It is not uncommon, even to this day, that soliders are given amphetamines, especially pilots on long missions.

speed is almost as greedy for abuse herion. I am pro drug...but meth has had its hands around my throat at one time, I wish to prevent that in others.
