So im 15 nd im sure im a lesbian my problem is that i live in a horrible household my father has always been physically nd emotionaly abusive 2me nd this yr he caught me wit my gf in a very bad position.. ever since then things have escalated to an extreme he'll get mad for no reason nd just scream nd throw shit at me i kant take it the final straw was wen he was drunk nd startd goin off bout how he was a man nd well brought his pants down in front of me to show me hes disgustin nd now i find out that hes cheatin on my mom2 i hav friends that r gettin n apartment nxt yr wen ill b 16 nd they kno my situation nd will gladly let me live wit them ill b 16 nd workin but still goin 2skool of course SO i guess i wanna kno wat u guys think am i doin the right thing. i know im mature enough to do it just want some1 elses opinion

Hi. This is probably the most horrifying story I've ever heard in my life. (No offense). But yes you should leave ASAP. What your father is doing is illegal and uncalled for. I've went through some shit in my life too and you know what I did, I just went away from it for a while. That really helped. Get an apartment, KEEP GOING TO SCHOOL, stay away from your family for a while. Don't let your mother drag you down with her. If you decide to stay call the cops or DSS when your father decides to be brutal again.
Well ur post should not be judged on the grammar etc but I guess some people may be like that unfortunately we live in a judgemental world. Anyway I would reckomend you try living apart from your family keep in mind your mum is the adult and makes a choice to stay with him you are still a child and not responsible for her. You need to give urself the best possible go at a good life and that means being where you feel safe and secure.
