Make a list of things that are making you unhappy, then change them.
Turning your life upside down can be fantastic if you are unhappy, but you have to do it in a sensible, stable way and for well thought out reasons. You may also find a lot of the unhappiness is coming from inside rather than circumstance.

Hippie friends might not be what you want once you find them. I find most everyone I've met (well, under the age of 50 or 60) who was a self-proclaimed hippie ended up being a self-righteous, know-it-all douchebags who reeked of patchouli. You should just stick with friends, and then narrow the search if you find that pretentious douche is what you're looking for. ;) And the nature thing, go outside! If you live in the city, take some time off to get out of the city, explore jobs that can get you in touch with nature. :) You're young, you can fix this!

quit thinking about it. go buy a tent as soon as possible and go live in the wilderness. it will be relaxing and allow you plenty of time to think about what you wanna do in life.

yeah, hippies are shitty friends. nature is everywhere, just go to it.

what exactly is the issue? hard to give advice to "you've never heard of me before, but i need to change something."

People in general are shitty friends. It took me years of being fucked over to figure that one out, never trust some one automatically always make them earn your trust.

The issue is the same one that so many others post here about.

The OP isn't happy with his/her life, and to express this unhappiness, he/she has chosen to whine about it and do nothing else.

    Now to try to stop those of you who like to jump down my throat;

Ignoring the typo... notice this isn't. I want to pack a bag and run away... or I am going to... or I am going to do anything else..

This was simply, 'I hate my life and wish it was different'

To the OP... join the club, there are many in the same boat you are... some of them have been posting for years the same thing, and are still sitting on their asses whining about being unhappy and wanting to change... and never doing it.

If YOU aren't happy with YOUR life... YOU should change it...

really, it's hard to be around people who eat things you don't eat? you're in for a miserable life.

also, "emotional symptoms of everything becoming clear" is an interesting way to say you feel like shit for eating an unbalanced diet.

Although it would violate your new found Vegan clarity, a cheeseburger, a hit of acid and an all night fuck fest might do wonders for your frame of mind. Usually helps me get shit sorted out but then I'm a 65 y/o hippie and only have a few dozen brain cells left.

Sounds like you've been taken in by the whole pseudospiritual raw food "movement". Dude, you've just stopped eating a well balanced diet and started drinking a few more smoothies. You're not going to get any great revelations from it. You may well get a wonderful placebo effect for a while, until your body really lets you know it's in trouble.

By all means eat with awareness. I've been vegetarian for 10 years now. But do it in a sensible way, do it as part of the real world and not just on the basis of what a few raw food nutters are are saying about enzymes and decay and things they have no qualifications to be talking about. They heard it on the internet or in books, just like you did. Wonder why medical professionals don't recommend an entirely raw food diet?

You'll also need to learn to cope with everyone else eating whatever they want no matter what you say or do, because that's life.

Then change your life. You seem geared toward people who wear labels. Beware, labels are often deceiving as too many people adopt labels for what they WISH they were and want others to think of them as... as opposed to simply being themselves.

Tomorrow??? If this is so urgent then what's stopping you from doing this today? Why is it hard being around people who eat meat and do other things you choose not to? Sounds like some precedence for being judgmental here. There's value to choosing a unique path and a certain pricelessness in practicing your beliefs in the presence of others who choose to do differently- further an indicator of true class in being matter-of-fact and non-judgmental about the differences. Purposefully shutting yourself off and taking offense at other peoples choices creates an air of self-righteous arrogance that you may not want to project.

Perhaps akin to exploring nature you can simultaneously explore your spirit in hopes of discovering what it is that compels you to derive negative value in the lifestyles that other people have every right to pursue... apart from what you have chosen to be right-- for YOU and nobody else.

Making excuses is just a way to rationalize that something isn't your responsibility. It's a little like me saying that just because I am a good bit older than some I can behave like a judgmental douche around those I deem myself to be better than. Blame it on age because you know how old people can get cranky. I can't help but get the sense that your motive is to impress on as many people as possible how much better you are than most. Funny thing... most who choose that route invariably prove the opposite.

Being vegan makes you absolutely no better of a person than one who chooses to eat meat. I don't see much clarity reflected in what you've posted here- save for the urge to get out and explore nature. That'll at least get your mind off the less than healthy obsession with the hippie label- perhaps long enough for you to realize that there's something far better for you to be: yourself.

I dont tell people what 2 eat. medical professionals get many things wrong. And there is sciencetific proof. Iv done much research and iv also worked out what i eat in a day and i am geting all the nutrients i need apart from b12 which im already taking vitamins 4. I dont blindly listen to people like people in a cult i make my own decisions from the info i get and i no iv made the healthyst choice 4 me.

I'm sorry, but your "scientific proof" is not from a reputable source. There are psuedoscientific sources for almost any idea on the internet and even in literature, from homeopathy to breathtarianism. You must check your sources. The most obvious proof that your sources are not reputable is the fact that if you were to ask any medical professional whether a completely raw food vegan diet is balanced and recommended, they would say no.

It's easy to fall into the trap of thinking that because you have read a lot about something, you know the facts about it. What you need to remember is that it's not just the quantity of information you read, especially online or in books written by advocates. If none of what you're reading really is the proven truth, you could fall into danger.

Like with all "good" fallacious practices, there is a grain of truth in raw food veganism: Fruit and vegetables are good for you. That, I'm afraid, is as far as it goes.
