ok one of my buddys that is trying to grow he dosent have the internet so he wanted me to ask some questions... He used every step from this site http://www.fungifun.org/English/Pftek That i printed off 4 him
He followed every step he got his spores from the lil shop of spores b+
The jars were started on the 27th of april it is now the 15th and have seen very little and few white spots. There is a couple though but nothing like there should b from pictures ive seen. You think hes allright ? Should they Still get mycelium in them? Its about 80 degrees in his jar area to from what i was told. Any tips or advice

Everything sounds good, but if the moisture level is off growth will be very slow or stop altogether. Too wet is easy to see. Sounds like they could be too dry. My only guess.

They are officially useless. 3 weeks and only minimal white? Done didly. Time to start over with spores from a different company. It was most likely the spore solution.

I swear by ralphster's spores. Another thing that could have happened is that you didn't let the jars cool down enough before you inoculated and the heat killed the spores. Or, you didn't shoot the spores far enough into the jars and only into the dry vermiculite layer on the top. Maybe?
