i went for a walk this afternoon and my neighbors in the next building were talking abou my bare feet as i walked by. they didn't say anything mean, in fact they seemed to think they were neat. one of them asked to check out how tough my soles were. the other one started to warn me about rocks & gravel and then stopped himself, saying that he didn't think i was going to get hurt walking over stuff with feet like mine. i honestly never relized people even notice my bare feet, let alone talk about them, but apparently at least they respect me for who i am.
i think most people are really interested when they see my bare feet and i didnt get what you said above
I get a lto of talk about my feet as well. My neaighbors are always telling me to be careful and stuff.
i love how people always tell you to be careful. it's like, gee, thanks for reminding me - and i was just about to go running through a pile of broken glass and rusty thumbtacks, jump up and down on some razor blades, and then go firewalking.
So true. I told for being barefoot at summer school today; she told me that there was a bunch of funky stuff on the floors, and I responded: "Ya, that's why we were blessed with eyes." I've been told that it's a health code, yet there is nothing in the dress code (or any state law that I'm aware of) that says I can't be barefoot inside an education facility.
