New age Hippies

So I have been thinking a lot lately about Hippies and Techies. Lets look at them side by side. Hippies promote love, wisdom, music, and mind and spirt Techies promote love, mind, spirt,and music, and there might be some wisdom hanging around there somewhere at a rave. I am the later, and feel that if the two worlds combined there might be a lot more love and wisdom to go around.

 

Those cyberpunk/hippie ravers wear the stupidest clothes, though. It's totally not respectable. But I love rave music. I don't think hippie ravers really have the right look.

 

Then again, to almost every other scene, hippies also wear the stupidest clothes.

 

What exactly is "the right" look? That sounds a little judgmental, don't you think?

Im not realy talking about candy kids. I am a dj I spin techno, enjoy the scene, and I dress like any average normie. a lot of the old ravers shy away from that look. Its about the love of the music and good people. :cheers2:

i would put more trust in underground scenes like psy trance or the free party scene

Hippies have it down good, man I think hippies are the coolest thing next to a popsicle on a hot day lol. Peace Love Music baby!!!

 

It may matter to some what others wear, but in my humble opinion, it isn't what you wear, it's how you live; either you use herbal remedies, try to maintain a balance with nature and yourself, and dress the way you are comfortable, or you take chemical pills that will destroy your body, try to keep up with the joneses, and you dress the way everyone else thinks you should. If I'm mistaken, please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanx
