As technology evolves many jobs become redundant, while new skills are needed. So let's post up new careers people can prepare for now. We don't need coders anymore, unless you can program LLMs, the public content that AIs steal for their chatbots. But we need AI prompt engineers who can command the AI model to create output from its datasets. Influencers. There's already too many, but for those without college, it's one way to make money if you're beautiful and very social. Of course, fake AI influencers and even fake only fans models have shown up. Carers. The aging population needs a lot of personal care. There are not enough people to do this and get compensated. More nurses and doctors too! Drone pilots. Learn how to fly these and you'll be in demand in the next war.... Soldiers. Yup they're recruiting and they're desperate. Whether it's the national guard chasing and beating men, women and children, locking them up and deporting them. Lots fun for sadists. Or join the rest of the military so you won't be a draftee and can pick your service contract. Then prepare to kill or be killed one day. Or just join a militia where you can train to overthrow the government or suppress dissent by running over protesters in your big truck. Declare yourself a sovereign citizen so you don't have to obey any laws. Terrorize your neighborhood. Great fun! Produce picker, gardener, maid. Lots of positions opening up right now! Be prepared for long hours, low pay, back breaking work and feeling inferior to everyone else.
What will happen to the world's greatest musicians and opera singers when AI has a go. The answer to that one may lie in a comment made by a world renowned music critic a few decades ago, in this case regarding a Japanese soloist. "In my entire life, I have never heard such a technically perfect performance". "In fact it was so perfect, that I almost fell asleep out of complete boredom".
Nah..............Speaking for the gardeners/landscapers........ai is handy/helpfull in development/design. But wen it comes to actually making/maintaining(creating) it(robots)...........nah Mzzls Ps. I have a very good paycheck .......experienced gardeners/landscapers are in high demand(NL)
The gardens in Holland are wonderful... I have enjoyed many of them - both indoor and outdoor. In the 'Dam there is the Hortus, and it is absolutely wonderful! The gardens surrounding it are equally awesome. There is a butterfly habitat there that amazed me.
When you watch this aria from 'Butterfly', where she is waiting in the hope that one of the ships will be carrying her lover and the father of he son, you may realise that Ying Huang's wonderful performance is as a result of the story being set in her native country and at a location on the waterfront that she knew well. That scene, at 3:52, where her maid comes to silently comfort her, was added by the producer who was transfixed by the story. It reduced members of the audience to tears on the opening night. Anyone who thinks that AI could produce moments like this, must need brain surgery.
There is so much more to installing a roof than what was showed. So ----I still say no way!! If I was still working and something like that showed up--I'd kick it off the roof to hear the nice noise it would make as it turned into a pile of junk! ( this is a joke--right?)
