I am growing 5 White Berry plants from paradise seeds. Started germinating Sunday night and just planted them. I will be posting in here for any advice anyone has for me that can help with my grow. I am using pro-mix BX soil, fluorescent light until the plants sprout then using a 400w MH light until flowering then I will be using an 400w HPS light. 24-8-16 nutrients for veg and 15-30-15 nutrients for flowering.

    Germinated seeds:

Is that a fan I see in image 214? I always like my fans above plants especially when young used to find the air flow would get under the leaves and tip them and end up with leaves pointing wrong way or completely tipped over and pointing down.
Looking great so far good luck with grow.

If you point the fan straight up youll get better circulation of air. Other than that though I think I know what Im going to do with my spare closet... mmaayybbee

I will be raising my fan so that the airflow is going vertically over the plants, I've got a question tho, I currently have no exhaust and when my MH light is on it gets to about 100 degrees. My grow room is 56 cubic feet and I purchased a 400cfm 8" fan. Is this fan too powerful for the size of room I have? And also I was thinking of hooking the exhaust up to a thermostat to regulate the temperature. I do not have the fan yet so I cannot just try it, but will the exhaust fan reduce the heat in my closet enough?

holy shit I hate imageshack...it's like having dial up all over. Watching the image load like a vertical blind going down.

Any exhaust fan will help to reduce temp by exhaust the hot and dragging in the cool air if it can, in vent ( passive) just as important as outwards venting, case of suck it and see.
Pic day 3. If ya place bubble wrap followed by newspaper and then black plastic sheet on top of the pots there sprout quicker and be kept at a more even temp and humidity .

    Help to speard the work.

Most of us live outside of Cal. But all people on hipforums should know about this and they DO NOT know. Paste this into other forums and help to spread the word.

they are still super small, wait until they have atleast 3-4 nodes and then t-plant them to bigger pots. give them about a week with the fluoro's and the freshly t-planted pots, then hit them with the MH for another week or so. Then flip to 12/12 lighting with hopefully a HPS if not the MH will work.

    :cheers2:

    Hi manic.

Agree seeds only just out the ground. Wait. I dont like potting on till at the month mark. I like to give em full light from day one but I have done it before but cant see harm in holding off for week or 2.
