Hey my name is Tanner, i havent posted any photos yet but i've been lurking for a minute, so i thought i would post my timeline.

I started dreading naturally around November 20th, and been taking pics almost everyday. I wash my hair every 2-4 days with Dr. Bronner's Bar Soap and THATS IT! Anyways, here they are, tell me what ya think.

no backcombing. tried that once and hated how it looked. basically what i do is i wait for hair to section and start to tangle and dread and i mite palm roll it a little just to help out, but other than that i don't do much

i love how ppl palmroll their hair and call it natural. but maybe some people consider 'natural' to mean no wax? rather than neglect/natural? if so, lol have fun

because there is no such thing as a head of locks without some kind of maintenance. if you dont do that you get unilocks or like 5 gigantic locks.

so in order to be natural (according to you) i can't touch my hair at all? sorry i didnt put "natural (but sometimes i palmroll) dreadlocks" as the title. i put natural because i did not backcomb. i dont know why people have to get so picky, either way they're dreads, it doesnt matter

not just according to me. according to the rest of the dreadheads who have real dreadlocks formed by the natural (aka not formed by twisting, palmrolling, backcombing, tnr, wool rubbing, braiding, etc) method. and as for the last comment, na fool you aint got dreads you got twisted hair

    :cheers2:

i dont understand how you manage to keep your locks apart, natural philosophy. if i dont do some kind of ripping i would get the 5 giant gigantic locks than a unilock.

that guy is an idiot, just trying to stir shit in lots of dready threads. of course you need to maintain locks to keep em looking good, they are called dreadlocks not dreadlocked as that what they'd turn out to be if you just leave em. one big turd. I doubt he even has them and if he does they are probably crap like him.
