Pages delivers a raw classical hip-hop flow akin to that of Rakim mixed with Guru of Gangstarr, which is a breath of fresh air in these days. But he also blends it with southern Miami-dade county style of renegades.

The album also puts Kendall on the map. Everyone always thought that Kendall, the south-west corner of Miami, was known for nothing but suburban gated communities where some of the biggest marijuana growhouse raids took place.

Pages puts Kendall on Miami's radar by introducing Kendall's (K-town) underground flavor of revolutionary hip-hop
mixed with living in the tough hoods of Miami, Florida. Also acknowledging K-town as 'the place where the women
always look fly', commentating on the immense population of beautiful Colombian women that reside in Kendall.

With tracks ranging from Southside Kriminal that depicts the hoods in Miami today, to What's Going On where the positive messgae for the youth pours from the speakers as you bump to it, the album is filled with a collective emsenble of funky beats, 1o4-Street Rebelz renegade slang, exotic instruments all blended perfectly to create a work of art for the ages.

This album could one day be used in sociological studies in universities as a source from which to observe and study daily life in these times to countercultural philosophies that were prevalent in the people.

    Meet Pages!

Pages' name is Tommy, I went to middle and high school with 'em, been homeboys for years. We both share the passion for Real Hip Hop, so let him describe it himself:

whata fuck are you guys smokin?

if you like hip-hop, you need to state who your favorite rapper is and why in order to say anything for credibility's sake.

This isn't a genre - it's just rap sampling rock.

    This is nothing new.

There are real bands that actually do their own rock hip-hop:

I like the random black guy on the corner, because that's what all rappers are to me anyway.

i like bone thugz n harmony cuz they rap so fast. busta rhymes does too. naz isn't bad. eminem even has some good lyrics. that's what usually makes me appreciate a rapper, quickness and cool lyrics.

true hip hop fans dont like a rapper because how fast he rhymes, thats ridiculous. its substance and style that count. thats why i think nas is #1 all time, he got both.

I'm not picking on him, as a producer he's brilliant. I just don't find the music that great.

But whatever Kanye does is better than this....... Anything... Is better than this.... The sound of dogs having sex may even be more listenable.
