    from brother hawker...

It's a sad day in Rainbow Land folks.
The Rainbow Family of Living Light has died at the young age of 33,
beaten to death by the Green Beast from Washington, Headed up by the
    monster Tim Lynn.

I have spent the day depressed and trying to pack, but not being able
because this is such a sad state.

This evening I spoke to two folks from site. I guess they have been
defeated to the point of insanity.
The proceeded to tell me that after two days and many blocks there was
finally a consensus for the new site. They told me that the new site
was a fine site with no problems all the while telling me about the site
and all the reasons the site can't work, yet thinking these are good
things. They must be insane. These were good, normally sane folks
telling me that reasons the site won't work, but hearing them as reasons
the site will work. When I said it looks like a swamp on the maps, they
said it's not a swamp, it's just mushy wet with tall wet grass. When I
said a road goes through it. They said it's not a problem cars only come
down the road a few times an hour and it is only along side main meadow
which is the corner of the gathering. The said the forest service only
drives on site now and then and folks will only drive to main circle on
the fourth (since the main road goes along side main meadow). The water
is great they say, the kitchens are above the water and great water is
below. When I explained that shit flows downhill and water does not flow
uphill (to kitchens) they didn't understand why this is a health risk.
One by one they told me all the reasons why the site was good, while
listing more and more reasons it was bad. I told them that many large
kitchens are boycotting this site and going to Sully. I told them that
the largest Nazi Clan is 5 miles south (in the only town that has cell
access I might add). I said there is no ALS, only a volenteer BLS which
won't be coming (they already talked to the paramedics who suggested we
just do all the transports since they can't). To these issues they
    didn't care.

Me I'm recommending we all go to back to Sully. If you do happen to go
to the swamp bring extra solar panels, pumps, and deep cycle batteries
as the water must be pumped up hill.

Oh and to confirm the water pipe rumor. Yes the old VT "SunBear" pipe
was stolen by the FS, but the stuff we bought this year is safe. Course
it was stolen too in sort, by the family to go to the swamp instead of
    the gathering site in Sully.

As for the permit rumor. I don't get it. The FS website and media says a
permit was signed. The FS on the land say it wasn't. Go figgure.
Whatever it hasn't stopped the harassment or intimidation. FS NEVER used
    to drive on site.

    TIM LYNN FUCK YOU!
You promised cooperation. What the fuck is this?

Don't freak out. Don't get hysterical. Don't spread rumors you're not sure about, unless you've been and seen. Then it ain't rumor. Don't stir shit. Don't dishearten others. Don't assume everything is ruined. Don't be unkind to others for their ignorance. DO jump in with both feet. Show solidarity. Participate. Take it as it comes, just don't bail out. Rainbow is not a pre-existing thing, it becomes what we make it. Lets make it happen, despite the problems!

im showin solidarity to whom in the family i know,, an i know hawker,,, an i know his commitment to clean water for the kitchens as well as his an mine an many others commitment to solidarity for the spring council conscensus..

if i bail it will be to the origional site....

but to be quite honest if there is traffic in the distance and they keep the road open goin by the main meadow,, im goin elsewhere...

i mean what the fuck,, never mind the water situation,,how ya supposse to observe silence till noon when theres traffic in the distance and site seers goin up an down the road by the main meadow??

yeah i can really feel at peace an in touch with nature in a place like that... not...

if we were gonna "make it happen" we shoulda stayed at the non permited site..

    i dunno,,, just dont know...

i'm reading every available post with great interest, & just from the posts & out of concern for what it means to allow ourselves to be Relocated" i'm leanning towards wanting to be at the original site also, but what i plan on doing, especialy since i wont be there for 5 more days is play it by ear, show up[ & see both sites 1st hand...feeel the vibes & then decide where i belong. hhb when will you be on site & would it be possible to make a post on 1st hand observsations? i think all the online talk is fine, but till we have someone onsite actualy checking things out for themselves & reporting back, itsall speculation
the 2 sites are 70 miles apart, so shouldnt be too difficult for every single hippy headed there to check out both (and hopefully every single 1 settle on just 1)

just a reminder that this is most likely 70 miles of twisty mountain roads and could very likely take longer to navigate because of that. not trying to discourage anybody, just making an observation so people can plan accordingly.

earth mother and,, 1 (cant think of screen name)other here are the closest to the new site,,,they should be able to go check it out now,,hell ill even kick down the gas money when i get there..(an my words my word)

As far as when im goin,, sometime next week i supposse,,seems a non issue on solidarity now that its a "permited" site against "spring council conscensus"..

kinda all depressed about it myself now,, ill go where the phamily i know winds up,,thats all i know..

my beaf truly has nuthin to do with the "new site",,has to do with we caved in,,an its a last resort site,,an i know in my soul that the chosen conscened site is where our spirit should be..

but beyond that,, i live in a very rural very pristine and quiet area,,an i just aint gonna last a couple weeks in woods with constant traffic noise and sight seers..

These permits being signed is quite a blow to our spirits.

By the way folks, the information that HHB passes on from Hawker is info that is coming from the site, and is a trustworthy source.

Thanks HHB, for putting it up!

well im trying to keep my spirits up .but as u say ....its the cave in to fs that realy hurts ......ive been a little down in the dumps over my own situation [even though my little changes will be for the better , if not without effort n risk ] but thought this year at least they would let us have our national one last time , before the usa is turned into one large prison .other places will see a renacance of loven lite ....all over the world ....but i feel its high time to abandon this tremendosly unfun nazi country . well im goin nevertheless , hoping to see an old friend or two and to make a few new ones . thanks so much to the waterpipe and kitchen folks for their hard work and faith in the event .......luv justo
