Hmm... my Finnish ones wouldn't really work in English... so... erm... oh! My housemates in Boro called me Tom. Short for tomboy, or peeping tom, or tomcat. They said that I was a bit tomboy-ish, and they said I was a peeping tom cos I liked to look inside people's houses if their curtains were open... and a tomcat cos they said I'm like a cat... I act and look like one... although I don't pee in people's gardens... but I do have whiskers...
I remember people shouting at me through childhood, "Breakfast cereals will kill you". These unprovoked cries seemed very informative at the time to my infant ears so I let it be with a gurgle and expelling a fluid ounce of saliva from my nose.
most of my friends think i look a bit like a mole, so i'm moley or mole or moleman. or montel, although this doesn't have much to do with the mole thing. hmm

My family nic name is Claire-a-boe (after some old actress I've never heard of ), my old friends call me claire-bear (after the the carebears *pukes*) or Courtney-Claire (used to be very into Riot Grrl in my teens):& At work they call me Tinkerbell or Buffy (the vampire Slayer)... I prefer the latter :X
The "cool" kids at school called me Jesus, 'cos everybody knows he was a skinny white guy with long hair from Scotland.

Most people call me Joey, which is a shorter version of my real name (Johanna). Other nicknames are Jo, Jojo, Jaska.. And then lots of Finnish ones but they don't really work here very well.
