I make no apologies for my thoughts, words, or actions. I readily accept any judgment and all consequences of the things I say and do. And THAT is what gives me the right and the ability to act how I act.

What about you? You ever feel bad for who you are or the things you do?

Naw. I've been real good lately, actually. Setting goals, living healthier, being nicer(sometimes), etc.

Even about to sit down and establish some new life rules. :)

I'm just saying that when I do things people don't like, I'm not sorry.

Shit, who are you tellin'? ;)

As a general rule, I like to help over pleasing. I could care less how happy/pleased somebody is as long as they're clothed, fed, and sheltered. Anything else is not my concern.

I will not apologize for anything unless I am sincerely remorseful.

I'd be interested to hear your life rules once you have defined them.

Now when you say sincerely remorseful, do you mean you drank the last of the milk and somebody wanted so you feel bad... or something more like slashing your bestfriends tires in a drunken rage kind of remorseful?

Really, I'd like to ask all of you that. How big does something have to be before you'll actually feel guilt and remorse?

Most def. I've realized that I need to crack down a bit, and really move forward. I was doing great for a bit. Now I'm not only failing to progress, but am starting to slip a bit. Probably gonna be some strict shit, but you have to call your own game the most rigid, you know?

And I make no apologies for loving myself as much as I do either.

Maybe if you loved yourself the same and had the kind of self confidence I do, you wouldn't still be obsessing about me saying I don't like you. You really shouldn't care.....

It would depend. I mean, if I inadvertently truly hurt someone I care about, I would apologize as that would never be my intention. Although if someone I cared about started pissing and moaning about me drinking the last of the milk, well, they might not be held in such high regard anymore..

Apart from very rare occasions, like above, I will apologize if I feel my words or actions warrant an apology. If I do or say something and then later realize how fucked up it was, I will apologize. I have been known to be too much of a pussy to bring up & apologize for things I've said drunk, though, and I think that's a greater character flaw than apologizing for shit you don't need to. Funny, I'm just realizing that now.

In regards to drunken arguments, somebody once told me, "There's no point in being mad, because it's not even real"......

Kind of makes sense, when you think about it.

I always apologize when I am wrong (or think I do lol). I don't like to hurt people's feelings, especially people I care about.

    At whatever point i realize that i'm wrong, i'll apologize;

or when it seems like i'm hurting the other person's feelings,

    without changing anything, really,

    i'll back down.

For the purposes of Debate, however, there should only be the first consideration.

It was coming from the person on the receiving end. ;)
