Before I talk about the dream, id like to explain my very frequent posts, i never posted in the dreams forum before, not sure why, but have been thinking and recalling dream experiences, just incase someone thinks im fabricating these...ok the dream...im in my fathers nice bmw that he loves immensley and ive taken it without his permission for a ride, all of the sudden i have no control over the vehicle and i hit a parked car and must face my father or run away (personally id choose this one), i know why i have this dream, its because i drove his car drunk one day and did one of the dumbest things ive ever done, a blind pass over a hill no view whatsoever of the other lane, i think about this often and feel sick to my stomach knowing what could of happened if there was another car, totalling my fathers car which he worked real hard to get, injurying myself and others...ive never driven that car again let alone sat in the driver seat, just wondering if anyone else has dreams where your out of control/helpless and why you think so

dreams often manifest out of emotional fears or desires. i believe these sorts of dreams help us consider situations in our imagination. like the brain's search for a solution fo problems it feels it might face. whenever ive had reccuring dreams, theyve been slightly different each time because i assess them a little different. in the last recurring dream, its usually the last because i solve the problem in that dream. i dunno, thats just an early aspect of my own dream theory, i dunno if it applies at all to other people.

taking this idea, the fact that you cant control the car crash probably means that the issue itself is whether you can handle crashing someone's car, rather than whether you will actually crash or not.
